'Au Hasard Balthazar'Gene Siskel Film Center

Many have said it before me and I hope that many will continue to do so after me.  Robert Bresson's 'Au Hasard Balthazar' presents us with what Godard called "the world in an hour and a half".  


In this world,
everything is random and nothing is,
all is possible yet nothing is,
nothing impossible and still all of it is,
where nothing is coincidence and all is.


His films can be viewed on the big screen until February 29 at the Siskel Film Center.
