Autumn returns

In Neruda’s beautiful poems evoking it,
in Chica's solemn lightness singing it,
in heavy sweaters and theatre season in Chicago welcoming it.

By theatre, I mean the only avant-garde and thus worthwhile theater in this city which is the Trap Door Theatre.  Do make an attempt to attend their latest production, Max Frisch’s The Arsonists.  It runs until November 17th.

Let me also take this opportunity to remind those of you wearing fine wool coats, jackets or skirts to the theatre.  The x-tack sewn temporarily on the vent of your apparel is meant to be removed. It’s sole purpose lies in holding the vent together neatly before being worn upon which you’ll need that extra room to take long strides.

So please do pay some attention to aesthetics and review before approaching the theater and other public places.  Some of us are sensitive to such gross disregards of aesthetics and utility.
