Ever since
watching the film, The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai at Facets, my feelings
for Noam Chomsky will forever remain tinged with eroticism as the memory of the main
character screaming Chomsky's name whilst reaching orgasm remains.
Orgasms
aside, there are still ants in the pants due to the upcoming Michel Gondry film
featuring Chomsky, Is the man who is tall happy?: An animated conversation with Noam Chomsky. Only a two week run in
Chicago at the Siskel Film Center from Dec.6th-19th so get going. In a city that at times appears parched, devoid of all culture, wit and intrigue, Gondry's film will likely quench said thirsts as he continuously challenges himself and us, the recent film adaption of Boris Vian's novel, L'écume des jours being one such example. Take an interest in yourself and surroundings by listening to one of our great contemporary thinkers as presented by one of our great artists.
